Golf Monthly launches online video series

IPC Inspire title Golf Monthly today announces the launch of a new online video series – Gear Vault – hosted on www.golf-monthly.co.uk and aimed to provide golfing enthusiasts with reviews of the latest equipment releases first.

Presented by members of the Golf Monthly team, the new series features informal expert analysis of next year's equipment now, allowing visitors to keep track of the hottest releases and see new products before they feature in the magazine, and before they are available to the golfing public.

The series, which starts August 3, will be sponsored by Nike Golf for an initial 12 week period and will also be promoted in the magazine and via email broadcasts from the start of August.

Golf Monthly editor Michael Harris says: “The Gear Vault is an innovative way for us to supplement our magazine offering and demonstrate the authority of our writers. We get samples of new equipment long before it will be available to purchase and our website is the perfect tool for us to be able to share that fantastic access with thousands of golfers.”

Hamish Dawson, publishing director of Golf Monthly, says: “The new video series represents a magazine and its website working in perfect synergy to offer readers more. What's more, it also provides an excellent opportunity for advertising clients to reach their audiences in a new way with great impact.”

Gear Vault is the latest addition to Golf Monthly's website, www.golf-monthly.co.uk. The site also features Instruction with tips from the biggest names on tour and Golf Monthly's Top 25 Coaches; Courses with thousands of tracks - from the top 120 to the best local courses; GM Forum, allowing users to log on and join in the debate with fellow golfers; Blogs and Competitions with the chance to win golfing goodies from the latest gear to a luxury golf break.
